You will be receiving the installation CD-ROM by first class mail. Before beginning the installation process, please read the set up procedure at http://www.thebasicephemeris.com/TheBasicEphemerisOwnersGuide.htm in Chapter 2.

Here are the simple instructions to get The Basic Ephemeris up and running on your computer.

• Insert the CD-ROM you were mailed into your computer’s CD drive.
• Go to Windows Explorer and click on the CD drive’s line to display the disk’s files.
• Double-click setup.exe to begin the installation. Do NOT click on the .msi file.
• The setup process begins. There may be some long pauses between steps. Follow the easy interactive instructions.
• Setup takes about five minutes.
